Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units (ICU, ER, Med-Surg)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision
- Document patient assessments, progress, and critical updates in EHR systems
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN or associate degree with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred for ER/ICU roles)
- Strong proficiency in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments with high patient volumes
