Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, identifying changes in condition and responding immediately to emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit environment.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Florida Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
