Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and comprehensive patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed providers.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions, documenting all observations and changes accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians and therapists, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all safety and infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New grads welcome).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
