Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical history and physician orders.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
  • Document patient vital signs, symptoms, progress, and medications administered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond immediately to any changes or emergencies in the clinical setting.
  • Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care or specialty nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to different healthcare environments and shift schedules.
