Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments of patients presenting with a wide range of symptoms to determine the appropriate level of care.
- Apply evidence-based protocols to recommend treatment plans, medication administration, or referrals to emergency services when necessary.
- Manage high-volume patient inquiries efficiently while maintaining accuracy and empathy in every interaction.
- Document all patient encounters meticulously in our advanced EMR system to ensure continuity of care and compliance with legal standards.
- Provide patient education regarding preventative health, medication management, and home care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and care managers to ensure seamless transitions for patients requiring specialist care.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN License in the State of Illinois.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in triage, urgent care, or telehealth.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make rapid, accurate clinical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information in a clear, patient-friendly manner.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, AthenaHealth).
