Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor patient health status closely.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans.
- Document patient care plans, clinical notes, and progress reports accurately and timely.
- Respond to medical emergencies with critical thinking and quick action.
- Educate patients and families on health management, medications, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing station.
Qualifications
- Valid and active RN License in the state of New York.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
