Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to established protocols and legal standards.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the wider healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in electronic health systems (EHR).
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical situations within the department.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States (FL or NY).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
