Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute/critical care settings with precision and compassion
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures per established protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and JCAHO standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Illinois (compact license preferred)
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification highly desirable
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in telemetry/ICU/ER settings
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system and advanced cardiac monitoring
- Exceptional critical thinking and crisis management abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to patient advocacy and cultural competence
