Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding immediately to changes or emergencies.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient and family engagement.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and handle critical situations calmly.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Commitment to adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards.
