Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with legal standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to develop individualized care plans.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and critical incidents.
- Conduct shift handovers and maintain clear communication with the night shift team.
- Educate patients and families on discharge planning and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license issued by the Arizona Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
