Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic health record system.
- Provide compassionate education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and healing environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license in Virginia (or compact state).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts, holidays, and on-call duties.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
