Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care by conducting thorough assessments and monitoring patient health status.
- Medication Administration: Accurately administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, charts, and patient histories.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patients in critical situations.
- Compliance: Adhere to all healthcare regulations, safety standards, and facility policies.
Qualifications
- License: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State Board of Nursing in Texas.
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and families.
