Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, reporting any abnormalities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be willing to obtain CNA certification (training assistance available).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation is required.
