Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assess patient health status through physical examinations and history taking.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions and document vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN preferred).
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (provided for new graduates).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment.
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
