Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously to detect changes in health status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and established nursing standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations, utilizing advanced clinical judgment.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as required.
