Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient condition accurately.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and family members regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required (valid in Oregon).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living, or home health setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to care.
