Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing comprehensive physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Implement and evaluate nursing care plans to address specific patient needs and outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to established medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress continuously, documenting changes in condition and adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado (or eligibility for licensure).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications must be current.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
