Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on clinical assessment and patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
