Responsibilities
- Assess & Plan: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Direct Care: Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient recovery.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication safety, and post-discharge care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Tennessee.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities.
