Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and compassion
- Monitor patient vitals and document clinical outcomes accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention strategies
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and regulatory requirements
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience in specialty area
- Current BLS/ACLS certifications with willingness to obtain additional credentials
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport in diverse settings
