Responsibilities
- Assess & Monitor: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and initiate life-saving measures when necessary.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- License: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Computer Proficiency: Ability to navigate Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems efficiently.
