Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously, noting any changes or abnormalities in vital signs and symptoms.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic and effective patient management.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions in electronic health records accurately.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred (1-2 years).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
