Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers
- Support meal services and ensure proper nutrition and hydration
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or geriatric experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach with elderly patients
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
