Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patient calls and inquiries to determine acuity and urgency of care.
- Apply clinical protocols and critical thinking to determine appropriate disposition, including home care, referrals, or emergency department transport.
- Document patient interactions accurately and thoroughly within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient education and resources regarding symptom management and preventive care.
- Manage high call volumes efficiently while maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in triage, urgent care, or telehealth.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient-centric language.
- Ability to work independently while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
