Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and response to treatments, documenting all changes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations, demonstrating sound clinical judgment under pressure.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Arizona.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
