Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatments, reporting changes immediately to the care team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) considered with relevant experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and time management skills.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality of care, and the highest ethical standards.
