Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Document patient history, assessments, and care plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates may apply).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
