Your Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be the vital link in patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and recovery for our diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions throughout the shift.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing station.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (BSN preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods.
