Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Administer medication and document all patient interactions and care plans in the electronic medical record.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Georgia State CNA License required.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support) from an AHA approved provider.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
