Responsibilities
- Execute the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation) to provide quality patient care.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and promptly report any changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and protocols.
- Document patient care activities, including vital signs, symptoms, and response to therapy.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, medications, and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Indiana.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
