Responsibilities
- Assess patient health issues and requirements, formulating and implementing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols and hospital standards.
- Monitor patient conditions and response to treatments, documenting all changes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Provide health education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical care needs.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a high-pressure environment.
