Responsibilities
- Assess patient health issues by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed medical protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care provided.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with composure.
- CPR certification and willingness to participate in hospital-wide emergency drills.
