Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with facility protocols and state regulations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the nursing team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Assist in patient education regarding disease management, discharge planning, and health maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia (or Georgia for remote candidates).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (Travel nurses welcome).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
