Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with evidence-based practices
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care planning
- Educate patients/families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (Compact License preferred)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN required for advancement)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (new grads accepted)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours
