Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments with strict adherence to safety protocols and hospital policies.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to care, escalating critical situations immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and legible documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide comprehensive patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning.
- Adhere to infection control standards and regulatory compliance requirements at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
