Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and taking comprehensive medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to care, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care services and outcomes in electronic health records.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment under pressure.
