Responsibilities
- Assist Patients: Provide daily living assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Hygiene: Ensure patients maintain high standards of personal hygiene and comfort.
- Communication: Report changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
- Feeding: Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients with special dietary needs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certification: Current CNA certification or willingness to obtain state certification.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassion: Genuine empathy and patience when interacting with the elderly or disabled.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
