Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient assessments and triage via secure telehealth platforms.
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status remotely.
- Document patient interactions, medical histories, and care plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members via digital communication channels.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and preventative care strategies.
- Respond to patient inquiries and urgent messages in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all remote work policies and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a compact state.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with remote communication tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
