Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population during weekend shifts.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, Medical-Surgical or Critical Care experience is a plus.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
