Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse medical units during weekend shifts
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska RN license required
- BSN preferred; associate degree candidates with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
