Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vitals, document observations, and report changes promptly
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide rapid assessment interventions
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (weekend shift preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (maintained current)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
