Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans for assigned weekend patients
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during weekend handovers
- Respond to emergency situations using ACLS/PALS protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records in Epic systems
- Precept new nurses during weekend orientation rotations
- Participate in weekend quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (current)
- Experience with Epic EHR documentation system
- Weekend shift availability (Friday-Sunday)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
