Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Document patient assessments and care progress accurately
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and hospital protocols
- Provide patient and family education on health management
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Wisconsin (or compact state)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Strong weekend shift availability (Sat/Sun 7a-7p or 7p-7a)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
