Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts in acute care settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document clinical progress accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical incidents
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
- Precept new staff and mentor weekend nursing team members
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (required)
- BSN or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification (current)
- Weekend shift availability (Sat/Sun required)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
