Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care across diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and interventions in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Participate in rapid response and emergency protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Active Louisiana RN license or eligibility
- ACLS/BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- Completion of nursing program within last 12 months
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Passion for patient advocacy in underserved communities
