Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per established protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document clinical observations and care delivery in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on disease management and preventive care
- Respond to emergent situations with critical thinking and rapid intervention
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards
- Mentor new staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN degree required; MSN or certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications maintained
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage
- Flexibility to rotate holidays as needed
