Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Monitor and respond to emergency situations with critical care skills
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior staff and uphold hospital quality standards
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (required)
- BSN or higher (preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (mandatory)
- 3+ years acute care experience (ER/ICU preferred)
- Weekend shift availability (essential)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
