Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid clinical interventions
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
- Utilize Epic EMR systems for real-time patient data management
- Mentor new staff through our peer-to-peer support program
Qualifications
- Kentucky RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required) or willingness to obtain
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities for patient/family education
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage
