Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and medication administration in accordance with nursing standards
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Respond to emergency situations with swift clinical interventions
- Lead patient education on treatment plans and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Precept new nursing staff and support professional development
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license in good standing
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
