Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations across multiple units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient conditions using advanced telemetry and assessment techniques
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations for emergency response
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Excellent critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
- Flexibility to cover rotating units as needed
